I really hope Sega changes their mind. Did you know there was an official poll for returning characters on facebook lately? Tikal was 3rd with 13%, Mighty had 18% and Fang 19%, that's what the results were like before they closed the poll iirc. They're currently busy with making up a statement, however if you add Tikal's and Chaos' votes together (because they belong kind of together...), they make up 25% which is clearly the majority! Could this mark the return of Tikal the Echidna?

I hope! The only problem is if they put Tikal and Chaos in the newest game, but the plotline is bad. Then it'd make people hate Tikal for stupid reasons. >.>

I think Sega has become a little bit better lately, especially with the Black Knight game. Even if the gameplay should end up bad in the next one, the story won't. They always have really good plotlines, even Sonic '06!
